Marketing Plan

Despite a limited marketing budget, CNB desired a marketing plan to achieve the following: (1) increase brand awareness; (2) deliver promotions to celebrate the bank's 25th anniversary; and (3) gain new individual and commercial accounts.

Our strategic marketing plan to help CNB meet its business objectives included several business-building ideas, starting with a community-focused, grassroots campaign to win new commercial customers and increase investment dollars from high profile, high net worth individuals. As a result, the bank's 25th anniversary year posted pre-tax earnings growth of 153%.

"Aside from occasional print advertising and a few local sponsorships, we'd never had much of a focus on marketing. The outstanding marketing plan developed by Marketing Moves inspired us to exploit our competitive advantages and to pursue new business opportunities more aggressively. As a result, our assets increased by 63% in two years (from $40 million to $65 million), and we are now recognized by Black Enterprise Magazine as one of the "Top 25" African American-owned banking institutions."
